<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single stage AC-DC converter for reducing the number of elements, and suppressing a loss during energy conversion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The AC-DC converter 2 includes a storage unit 23, a magnetic unit 21, and a switch unit 22. The magnetic unit 21 is electrically connected to the storage unit 23 and the switch unit 22, and provided with a core 211, a first winding 212, a second winding 213, a third winding 214, and at least one output winding 215. The first winding 212 is coupled to the core 211, receives a first electric energy, and transmits it to the core 211. The second winding 213 is coupled to the core 211, and stores a second electric energy in the storage unit 23. The third unit 214 is coupled to the core 211, receives the second electric energy, and transmits it to the core 211. The output winding 215 is coupled to the core 211.
