<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement chain type elevating device quickly and easily assembling the device, performing maintenance and restoring work when a failure occurs by easily fastening and unfastening an elevating table and a pair of engagement chains for elevating drive regardless of an elevating position of the elevating table, securing a high degree of freedom in the design of the elevating table and the engagement chains and avoiding abrupt disengagement between the pair of engagement chains with each other. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This engagement chain type elevating device 100 is provided with the elevating table 110, a sprocket 140 for elevating, the engagement chains 150 and a driving source 160. A bolt 185 for mounting a table for fastening the elevating table 110 is horizontally inserted and fitted from a side face of the elevating table 110 at an upper end of each of the engagement chains 150.
