<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blended yarn capable of providing a fabric having excellent water-repellency and hardly reducing the initial water-repellency by long-term use, repeated laundry or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polyester blended yarn is the polyester blended yarn in a core-sheath structure obtained using a polyester drawn yarn A as a sheath yarn and a polyester drawn yarn B as a core yarn and blending and entangling them, and satisfies the following requirements: (a) the polyester drawn yarn A has a shrinkage in boiling water of not more than 8%, and a single fiber fineness of not more than 1.5 dtex, and contains a specific ester-reactive silicone of 2-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyester; and (b) the polyester drawn fiber B has the shrinkage in the boiling water 2-20% larger than that of the polyester drawn fiber A, and a single fiber fineness of 1.5-10 dtex.
