<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor capable of improving heat radiation characteristics of a capacitive element without causing cost rise and scale-up of the capacitor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The capacitor 1 has one or more capacitive elements 12; a housing body 10 housing the capacitive element(s) 12 and attached on a cooler 16; and a heat radiating member 14 for radiating heat from the capacitive element(s) 12 to the cooler side. The heat radiating member 14 is disposed on the capacitive element(s) 12 and inserted in the cooler 16 so that part of the heat radiating member 14 may contact a coolant circulating through the cooler 16, and anodization is applied to at least a portion (d) inserted in the cooler 16 of the heat radiating member 14.
