<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate attachment structure enabling attachment of a top plate to legs through simple operation, capable of exact positioning and of appropriately coping with attachment of a deformed shape top plate or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When the top plate 2 is attached to a top plate seat 1x, a front movable claw 102 and a rear movable claw 103 are projectingly provided in such a manner that the same are oriented upward from the top plate seat 1x and that the same can relatively move in a direction in which the same get close to one another or a direction in which the same separate from one another through screw feeding operation by a drive mechanism 4. The drive mechanism 4 is arranged in such a manner that the both movable claws 102, 103 can freely move in a screw feeding direction as a whole body under a condition where screw feeding operation is not executed. Slits 202, 203 which are opening parts are provided at a lower surface of the top plate 2. The both movable claws 102, 103 are inserted in the slits 202, 203 and screw feeding is executed by the drive mechanism 4.
