The device of the invention includes optical members such as microlenses or optical fibres printed with liquid ink according to known scanning printing techniques, such as flexography. Each optical member (11,12, 13,14) has a transparent web (111,121,131,141) printed with a first ink layer that is sufficiently remote from the closest webs in order to avoid coalescence-merging therewith before curing. The web (111,121,131,141) is then covered with one or more so-called additional layers (112, 113,122,123,132,133,142,143) that may consist of flat tints in order to finalise the shape of the optical member in question. The section of the optical members is determined by the surface tension difference between said additional layers (112,113,122,123,132,133, 142,143) and the printing substrate (10). |
