The system has an absorber unit (7) with an absorber (9) made of metal foam e.g. copper aluminum alloy, and absorber window (10) inserted in an absorber pipe (8). A northern module (1) has a concentrator that includes mirrors (4), where the mirrors and the window are arranged one after other in rows in a north-south-direction such that the mirrors face the sun. The module arranged at a southern end of the rows supports the absorber unit, and a module arranged at a northern end of the rows supports the concentrator.
