<p>Provided is a graphic information processing device capable of forming curves suited for designs (such as beautiful curves or aesthetic curves) easily. A CAD system (1) comprises a reception unit (11) for receiving the input of graphic information indicating linear drawings including curves, a division unit (12) for dividing the linear drawing into a plurality of segments, to create a plurality of pieces of segment information corresponding to the plural segments, a first shaping unit (13) for converting the individual pieces of segment information by a function defined with a curvature, to shape the curves in the individual segments, a second shaping unit (14) for converting the converted plural pieces of segment information such that the difference between the curvature at one end point of the segment indicated by the segment information and the curvature at one end point of another segment connected to the former one end point may be at or less than a predetermined threshold value, thereby further shaping the plural segments, and a display unit (16) for outputting graphic information indicating a linear drawing composed of the shaped segments.</p> |
