<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable satisfactory image formation by making a developer conveyance state appropriate. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a plurality of conveying electrodes (63a) formed so as to have a longitudinal direction along a main scanning direction. These conveying electrodes (63a) are arranged along a developer conveyance direction (TTD) so that charged developer can be conveyed by application of driving voltage.
