<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of a lithium battery, which can suppress elution of aluminum constituting a cathode current collector, and can appropriately peel off a cathode active material layer from the cathode current collector. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment method of the lithium battery, equipped with the cathode current collector composed of aluminum, and a cathode member which contains the cathode active material composed of lithium and complex oxide to contain transition metal elements and a cathode active material layer fixed to the cathode collector, includes: an acid solution treatment process (step S4) of peeling off the cathode active material layer from the cathode current collector by contacting acid solution of either phosphoric acid aqueous solution, carbonated water, or hydrogen sulfide water with a surface of the cathode active material layer and the cathode current collector constituting the cathode member; and an oxalic acid treatment process (step S8) of making a treated material PM containing a metal component derived from the cathode active material layer react with the oxalic acid aqueous solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
