<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer content data well using a network for a next generation type line such as NGN. <P>SOLUTION: A content presenting server which is connected to a connection line includes a content distribution process part 4 and a content reception process part 3. The content distribution process part 4 delivers by multicast content data to one or more reception terminals by way of a predetermined transmission path. The content reception process part 3, upon receiving a content distribution request, calls back a content presenting terminal that has issued it by way of the connection line.
