<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically clean an objective lens of a laser irradiation system by improving an optical disk initializing device. <P>SOLUTION: A brush 13 is attached to a safe shielding shutter 12 covering the objective lens 4 of the laser irradiation system 2a. The safe shielding shutter 12 is moved like an arc arrow a-b, centered about a turning shaft 12d, advances to a position, at which the shutter covers the objective lens 4 and retreats to a position, at which the shutter does not cover the objective lens 4. Each time the safe shielding shutter 12 performs advance/retreat operation, the brush 13 wipes out and cleans the objective lens 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
