<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for irradiating a pedestrian and a vehicular headlamp device enabling a driver to rapidly and adequately recognize a preceding pedestrian while reducing the possibility of giving glare to a preceding vehicle and a preceding pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting system for irradiating the pedestrian, wherein the irradiation area for irradiating the pedestrian is regulated in a limited extent, comprises a light source constituted to radiate red light and green light for an additional area deviated from the regulated irradiation area, and a housing for accommodating the light source. The lighting system for irradiating the pedestrian includes a vehicular headlamp device 10 having a predetermined light distribution pattern. The vehicular headlamp device 10 comprises a light source 42 for forming the additional pattern PF to the light distribution pattern PL for low beam by the mixed light in which the components of red light and blue light have priority, and a lamp body 12 for accommodating the light source 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
