摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a scale adhered state, such as the thickness change, release and floating state or the like of the scale adhered to a base material such as the steam piping of a boiler, even in a non-contact state with high precision in a short time, by an electromagnetic ultrasonic resonance method. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave 13 is transmitted to an object 1, to which scale is adhered, by an electromagnetic ultrasonic probe 2 to be received from the object and ultrasonic resonance is produced by sweeping frequency to be transmitted to obtain a resonance spectrum. When the resonance spectrum comprising the repetition of a resonance peak group divided into a plurality of individual resonance peaks set to corresponding relation in respective different resonance degrees is obtained as resonance peaks which differ in the degrees of resonance, the part is determined as being a heterogeneous adhesion part.
