<p>When the Cartesian loop is open and the desired transmission power has been set, a control signal is generated to minimize amplitude and phase error and is stored. The difference in transmission power between when the Cartesian loop is open and when it is closed can be reduced by loading and setting the signal during transmission, and the transition response time for transmission power when the Cartesian loop is switched from the open state to the closed state can be shortened. Additionally, phase difference detection unaffected by amplitude is provided by normalizing the amplitude by outputting a phase difference detection signal only when the signal amplitude is large, in order to carry out a calibration that is unaffected by amplitude while using an input I/Q signal, which is a modulation signal.</p> |
