The roof (10) has transversal roof arches (36A, 36B) arranged at a tail side by a roof tip (24) and adjustably guided in guide rails (20) by gliders (38A, 38B) of the transversal roof arches in a vehicle longitudinal direction. Drawing roof arches (42A, 42B) are connected with the transverse roof arches via drawing springs (40A, 40B). The guide rails are provided with latch devices (44A, 44B) that are operated by a glider plate (32) of the roof tip, and secure the drawing roof arches at the guide rails in a closing position of a material blank.
