<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle that does not require a level conversion IC when a signaling connection is established between a microcomputer and a rendering IC 3 whose logic voltages are different from each other, and that provides a reduced size and a lower price. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The logic voltages of input/output signals to/from a display controlling microcomputer 7 and a main circuit 32 of the rendering IC 3 are set to different levels of a first level (+5V) and a second level (+3.3V), respectively, and the rendering IC 3 is configured as a monolithic IC in which the main circuit 32 and a logic-voltage conversion circuit 31 that converts different logic-voltage levels of control signals are integrated.
