PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of widening a dynamic range of a captured image, without using a field memory which causes increase in the chip size, and further by preventing the influence due to a leakage current, upon a data signal to be sampled/held. Ž
SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging apparatus 100, which performs a shutter operation, in such a way as to obtain an image signal of wide dynamic range through short-time exposure and long-time exposure, includes: an A/D conversion circuit 110a for simultaneously A/D-converting long-time exposure analog pixel signals from pixels of a selected pixel row into long-time exposure digital pixel values; and an A/D conversion circuit 110b for simultaneously A/D-converting the short-time exposure analog pixel signals, from the pixels of a selected pixel row into short-time exposure digital pixel values, wherein the long-time exposure digital pixel values of pixels sequentially outputted from the A/D conversion circuit 110a and the short-time exposure digital pixel values of pixels which are sequentially outputted from the A/D conversion circuit 110b are combined in units of corresponding pixels.
