LIGHTNING ARRESTER USING MOLYBDENUM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A high-speed response longevity molybdenum arrester and a manufacturing thereof are provided to vary an insulation breakdown voltage according to the thickness of an oxide film formed on molybdenum, thereby freely manufacturing the thickness corresponding to the insulation breakdown voltage according to a temperature, time, and oxygen. CONSTITUTION: A sealing container seals an insulating medium. A device group is formed by a plurality of devices(1) which are overlapped inside the sealing container. A spring part applies contact pressure to the devices of the device group. The device comprises a through hole(2) in the central part. Electrodes(3,4) have an internal diameter greater than the diameter of the through hole. The electrodes are installed in both sections in the overlapped direction of the devices. The device is made of the molybdenum of which the oxide film is formed on the surface.
