PURPOSE: An automatic extinguishing device laid under roof by a inclined straight pipe arrangement is provided to achieve the excellent quenching effect and the quick fire-extinguishing function and the optimized digestive capacity. CONSTITUTION: The automatic extinguishing device includes an plurality of straight pipes(10) arranged in the whole roof along to an inclined roof of the antique building; a plurality of base metal pipes and sprinkler(12) connected to a bottom from each straight pipe, arranged within the penetrated hole respectively, and arranged to extinguish the internal space of the antique building; a fire detector(40) detecting the fire in a internal space of the antique building; and a fire extinguishing system for extinguishing the fire by supplying the fire extinguishing materials to a plurality of straight pipes depending on the detection signal of the fire detector.
