<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert to image data for printing where an unnecessary page not requiring any printing has been removed by giving a user a chance to determine whether printing is needed or unneeded after receiving image data for a data conversion device, or the like for converting input image data to image data for printing. <P>SOLUTION: The data conversion device includes: a display image generation section 610 for generating image data for display comprising a PDF file by receiving a PPML file comprising one or a plurality of records where one or a plurality of pages of print data have been written in one record; a preview display section 620 for displaying an image based on the PDF file generated by the display image generation section 610 and receiving the designation of the presence or absence of the need for printing in record units and page units by user's operation; and a print image generation section 630 for generating raster data for printing for a record or a page of which printing has been designated by the preview display section 620. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
