摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving light emitting intensity of a zinc oxide which has short fluorescent life, whose manufacturing cost is low and which is chemically stable and which is a promising material as a scintillator material for a next-generation PET. <P>SOLUTION: Light emitting intensity of exciton light emission having the short fluorescent life by reduction of self-absorption is improved by doping a dopant such as Sb and Bi having a deep donor level or doping a plurality of dopants of a donor and an acceptor in the zinc oxide. The zinc oxide is manufactured by preparing dopant substance in a starting raw material by an LPE (liquid phase thin film epitaxial growth) method or hydrothermal synthesis method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
