<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner preventing degradation of comfort and reducing costs. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 is provided with: an air distribution fan 25 for sucking the indoor air and distributing the same from a supply opening 7; an indoor heat exchanger 24 exchanging heat with the sucked air by the air distribution fan 25; an outdoor heat exchanger 14 disposed outdoors to exchange heat with the outside air; a first temperature detecting section 16 detecting a temperature of the outdoor heat exchanger 14; and a timing means for timing. The air conditioner performs a defrosting operation to defrost the outdoor heat exchanger 14 during a heating operation, the defrosting operation is performed when a detection temperature of the first temperature detecting section 16 becomes lower than a prescribed defrosting temperature, a lapse time from the stop of the last heating operation is detected in starting the heating operation, and an initial temperature T0 of the outdoor heat exchanger 14 is detected when the lapse time is longer than a prescribed stop timeτs, so that the defrosting temperature is changed according to the initial temperature T0, and the initial defrosting operation is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
