<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braze-repairing material capable of recovering the characteristic of an original base material to a parts having a defect such as a crack, and to provide a braze-repairing method using the braze-repairing material. <P>SOLUTION: The braze-repairing material 3 is integrally joined with a part to be repaired to repair the part by filling the braze-repairing material 3 in the part to be repaired of a base material 1 having defects such as cracks 2 and corrosion, and executing the diffusion heat treatment. The braze-repairing material is formed of a mixture consisting of non-melting alloy powder having the composition similar to that of the base material 1, and melting alloy powder which is molten at the temperature of the diffusion heat treatment. The melting alloy powder has the composition consisting of, by mass, 0.001-0.05% C, 2-5% Si, 10-25% Cr, 15-25% Co, 1-5% B, and the balance Ni.
