PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting electrical energy for conductively heating a semiconductor material in a rod form is provided to obtain low displacement reactive power by including three-phase converting device. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for converting electrical energy, a three-phase converter apparatus comprises a primary winding(2), three secondary winding(3,4,5) and three heating circuits. The three phase converter comprises 5 voltage taps(6), and a power controller is connected to the lower part of a voltage tap. The heating circuit comprises the secondary winding and a semiconductor material. A power component of a power controller is arranged at the three-phase transformer in order to optimize the volume of the power component. The voltage tap is directly connected to the power controller without the additional switching element.
