PURPOSE: A sunlight tracking apparatus is provided to reduce the number of parts and the size of the apparatus by mounting a motor in a horizontal gear by passing a horizontal shaft driving gear for vertical movement through a horizontal gear vertically. CONSTITUTION: A sunlight tracking apparatus is composed of a horizontal gear(200), a horizontal gear driving motor(300), a vertical gear(400), and a vertical gear driving motor. A solar cell plate(100) is rotated around a horizontal rotation shaft. The horizontal gear is rotated around a vertical shaft. The horizontal gear driving motor rotates the horizontal gear. The vertical gear is formed like a bar shape. One side of the vertical gear is combined to the solar cell plate and the other side passes through the horizontal gear. The solar cell plate is rotated according to the longitudinal movement of the vertical gear. The vertical gear driving motor moves the vertical gear.
