PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a manual in an image display device are provided to easily check a manual necessary for driving on the image display device. CONSTITUTION: A controller decides whether a request signal is a e-manual display request signal(410). The controller checks a kind of language data set in an image display device(420). The controller combines language with an image according to the kind of language data to be set(425). The controller displays an e-manual(430).
