PURPOSE: A digital television, a 3D pointing device and a method of executing functions of the digital television are provided to make execution speed of a DTV function according to the motion degree of the 3D pointing device, thereby conveniently using the 3D pointing device in various conditions or situations. CONSTITUTION: One of functions of a DTV(Digital Television) is selected according to a selection signal received from a 3D pointing device(S310). The movement direction and movement parameter of the 3D pointing device are received(S320). The movement parameter comprises one between the distance and the speed corresponding to the movement direction. The selected function is executed according to an execution profile corresponding to the selected function and the receiving movement parameter(S330). |
