PURPOSE: An apparatus for fixing carbon dioxide using steelmaking slag is provided to secure the cerussite disposal raw materials, and to produce calcium carbonate of high purity capable of recycling energy without additional energy consumption. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fixing carbon dioxide using steelmaking slag includes a carbon dioxide dissolver(10), a reaction bath(20), and a settling tank(30). A carbon dioxide inlet pipe(13) has a carbon dioxide valve(13a). A water inlet pipe(14) has a water valve(14a). The reaction bath is connected with the carbon dioxide dissolver. The settling tank is connected with the reaction bath by a water discharge pipe(21). The settling tank has a calcium carbonate collecting pipe(34) and a settling tank discharge pipe(33). The carbon dioxide discharging pipe(16) is installed between the carbon dioxide dissolver and the settling tank.
