PURPOSE: A sheet connecting boss and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure improved strength and productivity of the connection boss, simplified process, and reduced material cost. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a sheet connecting boss(1) comprises the steps of: forming a body(3) with a flange(2) on the bottom thereof by subjecting a sheet material to blanking and deep drawing, securing a press die above the body, and punching the flange from underside of the flange to form a groove(4) at the junction of the body and the flange.
