COMPACT MONOPOLE ANTENNA FOR ULTRA WIDEBAND

PURPOSE: A compact monopole antenna for an ultra wideband is provided to help a user to make the device compact by directly connecting SMA connector and eliminating a ground plane. CONSTITUTION: In a compact monopole antenna for an ultra wideband, a substrate is formed as a board-shape and has a through hole. A feeding unit(121) is formed on the substrate, and a radiation unit(125) is separated from the feeding unit and is formed on the substrate with being more expanded than the feeding unit. A connection part(127) interconnects the feeding unit and the radiation unit. A wire is inserted to the SMA connector(130) through the penetration hole on the substrate and the SMA connector is connected to the feeding unit. The SMA connector includes an insulation part(135) and a flange part(132) surrounding the wire.
