PURPOSE: A vibration isolation intermediate shaft is provided to improve the steering efficiency and the noise and vibration isolation efficiency of a vehicle by controlling the strength of an elastic body according to the driving condition of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A vibration isolation intermediate shaft(100) is composed of a torsion yoke(120), a tubular shaft(110), and a yoke shaft. One side of the torsion yoke is connected to the steering column shaft. The other side of the torsion yoke is opened to form the space. One side of the tubular shaft is inserted into the internal space of the torsion yoke. The other side of the tubular shaft is opened to form the inner space. One side of the yoke shaft is geared in the internal space of the tubular shaft and transmits the rotary force to a steering gear. A first elastic body(123) and a second elastic body(125) whose strength is different each other are interposed between the torsion yoke and the tubular shaft.
