OFDM RECEIVING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ICI CANCELLATION AND EQUALIZATION FOR OFDM SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An OFDM receiving system and a method for ICI cancellation and equalization for OFDM system are provided to reduce an error transmission caused by a determination error while reducing computational complexity. CONSTITUTION: In a device, an MMSE-SIC detector(214) uses equalization matrixes to minimize a mean square error in consideration of a decision error. A soft demapper(215) performs symbol demapping to an output of the MMSE-SIC detector. The soft demapper performs the symbol demapping to an output of the MMSE equalizer. A SISO decoder(218) performs SISO-decoding of the soft bit information obtained from the result of the symbol demapping SISO. An ICI remover(221) eliminates ICI by using soft bit information which is processed through SISO decoding. An MMSE equalizer(222) applies equalization matrixes to the signal which the ICI is removed from in consideration of a decision error.
