The present invention refers to the hand tool industry in general, and more particularly to a garden tool assembly, the process for assembling the garden tool and the assembly element between the head of the tool and the gripping handle thereof; the invention is characterised in that it consists in associating a tool handle; a garden tool head where the handle is connected to an assembly element that consists of a cylindrical-shaped ferrule of crimped steel arranged in the attaching point between the handle and the connection element of the tool head.
