PURPOSE: A resource allocation information transceiver and a method thereof in a broad band wireless communications system based on OFDMA and a method thereof are provided to reduce MAP overhead by applying a subcarrier mapping pattern corresponding to the CID information of a user. CONSTITUTION: An MAP generator(202) generates the MAP of a user. A user encoder encodes the user MAP. A user modulator(210-1) modulates the encoded user MAP into each modulation system. A user sub carrier mapper(212-1) maps a characteristic subcarrier mapping pattern corresponding to a CID(Connection ID) information of the user.
