<p>PURPOSE: An image display device is provided to improve an electrical property by preventing damage to an organic electroluminescent device at a reverse bias. CONSTITUTION: An image display device(21) includes pixel circuits(25) at a display part(22). Each pixel circuit has a light emitting device, a switching transistor(Tr3), a driving transistor(Tr2), a storage capacitor, and a recording transistor(Tr1). The driving transistor drives the light emitting device(8) through the switching transistor. A storage capacitor maintains a voltage between a source and a drain of the switching transistor. The recording transistor sets a terminal voltage of the storage capacitor according to a voltage of a signal line.</p> |
