PURPOSE: A compressor is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by forming a swash plate by using steel and prevent adherence between the steel swash plate and a shoe by coating tungsten carbide carbon onto a surface of the shoe. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(100) comprises a front housing(120), a rear housing(130), a cylinder block(110), a driving shaft(140), a plurality of pistons(115), and a shoe(150). The cylinder block is located between the front housing and the rear housing. A plurality of cylinder bores(113) is formed while surrounding the center of the cylinder block. A crank chamber(121) is formed within the cylinder block. A swash plate(148) located in the crank chamber is pivotally installed in the driving shaft. According to the rotation of the swash plate, the plural pistons linearly reciprocate within the cylinder bore. The shoe is located between the swash plate and the piston, and relatively moves with respect to the swash plate. Tungsten carbide carbon is coated onto a surface of the shoe or the swash plate.
