The device (D) has support units (MS) for maintaining a portable accessory (AP), and a slot plate (PF) integrated to the support units. The slot plate has dimensions adapted for introducing the plate inside a compact disc insertion/extraction slot (FD) of a compact disc player (LD) i.e. car radio type equipment, where the player is placed below vision field of a driver of a motor vehicle. The plate comprises a rear surface introduced in the slot and having a semi-circular concave shape with a radius of curvature slightly greater than that of a compact disc.
