INFORMATION PROCESSING TERMINAL AND INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system that simplifies procedures from acquiring a content by using a two-dimensional code until viewing the content in a portable terminal and allows contents of the content corresponding to the two-dimensional code to be changeable without reissuing the two-dimensional code.

SOLUTION: The information providing system has a content management server 2, a service system 1 which prepares a QR code (R) 7 including content ID information 35 for providing a content and URL information 34 for providing an exclusive application 19 for processing the content; and a portable terminal 10 that performs communication on the basis of the information included in the read QR code 7 so as to receive the provision of the content. When reading the QR code 7 by a photographing part 16, the exclusive application 19 acquires the content ID information 35 included in the QR code 7 so as to automatically display and reproduce the content received from the service system 1 on the basis of the information.
