<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a power motor having a good manageability and can be reduced in size, in a scooter type compact motor driven two-wheeler. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the power motor 3 as an outer rotor type brushless motor, a coil Lu (v×w) having 20 poles and 24 slots is concentrically wound to eliminate winding waste. A magnet 8 including a neodymium magnet is arranged to a rotor 5 having a diameter of 100 to 150 mm, and the interval between the magnet 8 and teeth 9 is 0.5 to 1.5 times of the thickness of the magnet, and the circumferential width of the winding part on which the coil of the teeth is wound is 0.4 to 0.6 times of the circumferential width of the tip end of the teeth, and the drive wheel is driven through a speed reducer. The power motor can be adapted to the scooter type compact motor driven two-wheeler on the market without greatly changing the design other than the drive source, with a good manageability such as walking while pushing or the like without being affected by a cogging torque.
