<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation detection system for a vending machine which can detect an abnormal operation by using a device to be used in a normal operation state without using any special device against a crime. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When at least either an impact detected by an impact detection part 105 or the opening/closing of a storage door detected by a door switch 106 in a normal merchandise selling state satisfies such conditions that any of a paper money processing part 101, a coin processing part 102 and an electronic settlement part 110 which perform the processing of money in selling merchandise is put in an abnormal state, a crime information processing part 16 creates crime information, and transmits it to a center device 120 by determining that any crime act has performed to a vending machine.
