<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine that enables printing paper to be replaced even if a printer is installed sideways. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vending machine has an outer door 20 freely openably and closably mounted on the front of a body cabinet and a single-swinging cover 2 and is provided with a printer 1 for printing and outputting management information. The printer 1 is disposed to freely move into and out of a storage position where it is housed inside the outer door 20 while taking a lateral attitude with a small area of projection and a maintenance position where it protrudes from the storage position to the back of the outer door. The maintenance position is set in a position such that printing paper can be replaced by opening or closing the cover 2, whereby the printer 1 is installed in relatively small space inside the outer door 20. The printer is also caused to protrude toward the back of the outer door from the storage position where it is housed inside the outer door while taking a lateral attitude, whereby the cover 2 can be opened and closed without being obstructed by other components.
