<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sheets of paper subjected to image formation from being stacked unevenly on a paper placing section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a paper ejecting section includes: a paper stacking part; a paper ejecting roller part having a paper ejecting roller by which paper subjected to image formation is ejected onto the paper stacking part; a wall part having a paper contact wall face with which the rear end of a sheet of paper subjected to image formation and ejected to paper stacking part is brought into contact and thereby aligned in the direction of the ejected paper subjected to image formation; one support member for fulcrum-supporting the wall part near one end of the paper ejection roller; and the other support member for supporting the wall part so that its position can be horizontally changed and adjusted around the fulcrum such that the paper contact wall face is parallel to the axial direction of the paper ejection roller near the other end of the paper ejection roller.
