<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information protection system 1B which prevents information leak, and to provide a handsfree system 1, and a handsfree device 3. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mobile telephone 2 has: a memory 32 storing information of a telephone number database including IDs, and names and telephone numbers associated with the IDs; a communication IF portion 40 outputting information of the memory 32 to a handsfree device 3; and a telephone communication portion 31 retrieving telephone number data associated with an ID from the ID input from the handsfree device 3, and connecting a line. The handsfree device 3 has: an operation input portion 19 designating the name of the other person to be connected; voice input/output portions 15 and 16 performing a voice input/output function instead of the mobile telephone 2; a memory 12 selecting only name data from an input telephone number database and storing the name data with its ID; and a communication IF portion 11 retrieving an ID associated with the name designated by the operation input portion 19 and outputting the ID to the mobile telephone 2.
