<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of pressure loss caused by interference of exhaust gas flowing into a collecting pipe from respective branch pipes, in the exhaust manifold. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust manifold, respective cylinders of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine and the collecting pipe 2 are communicated by the plurality of branch pipes 3 extending in a vertical direction of a longitudinal direction of the collecting pipe 2. In an inner wall of the collecting pipe 2 facing against the connection part with the branch pipes 3, a protruding part 5 for protruding toward inside of the collecting pipe 2 is formed. The protruding part 5 is formed so that a part H where its protrusion quantity is largest is positioned at an upstream side of the exhaust gas from a center C of a projection area S1 where a flow passage section area with a branch pipe 3 is projected on an inner wall of the collecting pipe 2 and positioned at a downstream side from a projection area S2 where a flow passage section area of a branch pipe 3 adjacent to the above branch pipe 3 at an upstream side is projected on the inner wall of the collecting pipe 2.
