<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common key generation method, and the like, that can stably share key generation source information for generating a common key and generate the common key. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the common key generating method in which a master device and a slave device share the common key for radio encryption communication, and a key generation source information transmission device is provided which successively generates and transmits the key generation source information as a generation source for the key to a circumference. The master device successively records the key generation source information received from the key generation source information transmission device with a certain time, and the slave device receives the key generation source information from the key generation source information transmission device, and records key generation source information, received after operation input inside when there is operational input to the device itself. The master device and slave device verify whether mutually common key generation source information is recorded and generate common keys, based upon the common key generation source information on condition that the mutually common key generation source information is recorded.
