OILY GEL INK COMPOSITION FOR MARKER PEN AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An oily gel ink composition for marker pens is provided to stably show the vivid color on an existing concavo-convex blackboard, to ensure excellent erasability for a long time, good storage stability, and excellent feeling of writing. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an oily gel ink composition for marker pens comprises the steps of: (i) heating alcohol 10-18 parts by weight to 60-80 °C; (ii) adding polyvinylbutyral resin 3-7 parts by weight to the heated alcohol and stirring the materials for 1-3 hours to form a gel composition; (iii) adding color pigments 20-25 parts by weight to the gel composition and pulverizing the added mixture; and (iv) adding alcohol 5-7 parts by weight, dispersing agent 1-3 parts by weight, anti-sagging agent 1-2 parts by weight, release agent 25-30 parts by weight and emulsifier 1-3 parts by weight and stirring the added mixture for 30 minutes - 2 hours.
