The fan (1) has a fan disk (2) with radially running blades (4). A part of the blades includes a flexible material such as plastic polymer e.g. polypropylene or polyamide, and the plastic polymer comprises an alloy of carbon nanotubes. The blades are formed in a thin-walled manner such that the blades are positioned in a constant airflow within a preset fan speed range by a deflection, which is associated with speed of the blades. A hub (3) of the fan includes an opening for fastening the fan to axial shaft ends of a rotating machine.
