The device has a masking part (17) arranged in retaining frames. A retainer is arranged in the masking part in such a manner that contact elements of an electrical component held in a retaining opening of a retainer are accurately aligned to openings (18) of the masking part. A soldering paste is applied at the contact elements of the component by a re-melting process by soldering contacts. The masking part and the retainer are arranged with the component by maintaining the alignment in a miniature furnace (36).
