SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTHORIZING OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE BASED ON SERVER

PURPOSE: A server-based electronic certificate agent system and a method thereof are provided to prevent the wrong use and abuse of a corporation certificate by checking the authority of each user based on user authentication information and performing the electronic signature for only corresponding authority. CONSTITUTION: A signature server(300) stores a certificate issued from a certificate issuance server(200), receives a certificate use request message including user authentication information from a user terminal(100), and then checks whether the user authentication information corresponds to those of plural registered users. If the electronic signature is possible, the signature server performs the electronic signature instead of the user terminal based on the corresponding certificate and then transmits the electronic signature result to the user terminal.
